A resident of Canton, Ohio, Dixie Park is the administrative judge of the Stark County Probate Court. Her duties include administering cases on decedent’s estates, appointing guardians for minors and seniors who are incapacitated, and ruling on civil involuntary commitments of people who are mentally ill. Judge Dixie Park also presides over adoption cases, supervises testamentary trusts, and oversees changes of names, issuance of marriage certificates, and registration of birth records.

Judge Park has been a probate court judge since 2004. Before becoming a judge, she was a magistrate at the General Division of the Stark County Court of Common Pleas. She also served as an assistant law director for the city of Alliance and as an acting judge in the Alliance Municipal Court.

Outside of Stark County, she chairs the Probate Forms Committee and the Subcommittee on Adult Guardianship of the Advisory Committee on Children and Families of the Supreme Court of Ohio. She earned her law degree from the University of Akron School of Law.
